The idea of Milk&Lace was born at the same time my daughter, Petra Elena came into this world. 

 I fell in love with her and with breastfeeding, it felt like the most beautiful, grounding bond I had ever experienced.

Becoming a mom changed so many things in my life , obviously… but it didn’t change me. I was still the same woman I was before. But when I went to look for a nursing bra, nothing felt like “me” at all. It almost felt like the world expected us to step into this “mom” box and leave the “woman” part behind.

But we still love beautiful lingerie. We still want to feel confident. We still enjoy a good outfit, a romantic date night, a reminder that motherhood adds to who we are , it doesn’t replace it.
